Story of: David Pocock

David Pocock is a professional rugby player who is from Zimbabwe but moved to Brisbane with his family where he completed most of his schooling. While in school, he played for the school team as well as was chosen to be part of Australian Schoolboys national rugby union team. It is known to be the highest level in school level rugby. This showcased the potential he had for the game.

Pocock made his debut as a professional player when he played for Force against the Sharks in the city of Durban. He participated in 2007 IRB Pacific Nations Cup as well for the schoolboy teams. Here he also earned the title of man of the match. Continue reading “Story of: David Pocock”

Story of: Jonny Wilkinson

Jonny Wilkinson is one of the senior players in the international rugby leagues, being an English player who is currently about 38 years of age. Being a former rugby player of England, he has also been part of clubs like Irish and British Lions. His successful playing years were 2001 to 2003, before and during the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Today he is considered one of the finest among rugby players of international standards.

Being from Frimley, he went to Pierrepont School and went to Lord Wandsworth College. His youth level rugby club was Farnham Rugby Club and he was also given admission at University of Durham.
